Date change due to weather!More than 100 tuba players are expected in Boston's Downtown Crossing this Saturday, December 10 for a 10 AM rehearsal and 12 noon performance of holiday songs as part of the national TubaChristmas celebration.
Get in the holiday spirit! Tuba Christmas is making a stop in Downtown Boston. Experience lots of local tuba players playing your favorite holiday tunes!
Bostonians will have the opportunity to hear their favorite Christmas carols tuba-style. Downtown Crossing welcomes participants from around New England ranging in ages from 8 to 85.
Every Christmas season, tuba and euphonium players of all ages, from specific geographic areas, gather to pay respect to Harvey G. Phillips and William J. Bell, and all the great artists/teachers who represent their heritage.
Come join the herd of magnificent Tuba players and usher in the holiday season with great live music!
The warm and enchanting sound of this tuba-euphonium choir has won the hearts of audiences throughout the world. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this holiday tradition.
This event is free, open to the public and fully accessible.
