Every Memorial Day weekend, (except last year), the MA Military Heroes organization plants a Garden of 37,000 Flags in front of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Boston Common.The flags commemorate the Massachusetts service members who have given their lives to defend the United States and our freedom.
At this time, the Memorial Day Flag Garden is planned to be on display at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument of Boston Common in 2022 from May 26 – May 30.
These plans may be updated as our community manages and responds to the ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic.
All visitors to the Flag Garden are asked to review current city and state COVID-19 safety regulations prior to their visit to the Flag Garden.
