Getting to the Boston Local Food Festival is easy and it’s just a short walk from downtown Boston. Located in the Fort Point Channel area, the festival will take place along the Boston Waterfront in front of Boston Children’s Musuem and up to the Moakley Bridge. Local Craft Beer Tastings will be held at a new location to be determined. The festival is conveniently located near South Station, Boston Children’s Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art, and the John Joseph Moakley Court House. Instead of driving, we encourage festival-goers to use alternative methods to attend the event, by taking public transportation, walking, biking, or by taking a water taxi to the event. The festival is accessible by the MBTA: Silver Line, Court House Station or South Station on the Red Line. Other options include City Water Taxi, or a special hop-off stop from area tour shuttles at the corner of Northern Avenue and Sleeper Street. The Boston Harbor Tours and the Rose Kennedy Greenway also offers nearby walks. If you would like to map out your trip to the festival, the nearest address to our location is 308 Congress Street, the site of Boston Children’s Museum.
