see science center photoSEE is a hands-on science center established to promote excitement and enjoyment of science. With nearly 100 exhibits, visitors of all ages have fun actually doing science. Reservations are not needed for self guided exploration of the exhibit area during public hours

Feel the forces created by a gyroscope! Experiment with robots! Look through a periscope! Send a whisper across the room! Touch and try exhibits on light, electricity, forces, momentum, sound & much more!

SEE has been getting kids from toddlers to teens excited about science since 1986.

SEE is located at 200 Bedford Street in downtown Manchester, NH in the millyard district.

From the South:
Take Route 3 North or Interstate 93 North to 293 North to Exit 5 (Granite Street Exit). Turn right at the end of the ramp. Cross the river and take the first left at the traffic light onto Commercial Street. Travel less than a quarter mile and take the first right onto Pleasant Street. Take the first left onto Bedford Street. SEE is the first building on the left. Turn left into first driveway or park on Bedford Street (metered parking only taking quarters). Enter the building through the glass staircase entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the fourth floor.

From the North:
Take Interstate 93 South to 293 South to Exit 6 (Amoskeag Bridge Exit). Travel over the overpass and follow to the right at the fork. Cross the bridge over the river and take the Canal Street Exit. AFter merging onto Canal Street, travel approximately 3/4 of a mile and take a right (at the 8th traffic light) onto Pleasant Street. Take the first right onto Bedford Street. Turn left into first driveway or park on Bedford Street (metered parking only taking quarters). Enter the building through the glass staircase entrance and take the stairs or elevator to the fourth floor.

From the East:
Take Route 101 West to Route 293 North. Take Exit 5 (Granite Street) off of 293N. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Cross the river and take the first left at the traffic light onto Commercial Street. Travel less than a quarter mile and take the first right onto Pleasant Street. Take the first left onto Bedford Street. SEE is the first building on the left. Turn left into first driveway or park on Bedford Street (metered parking only taking quarters). From the West:

5-starEntertainment And Educational Value
I visited the SEE Science Center with three children between the ages of 9 and 12. All three have very different interests and learning styles. The Center kept them all engaged, entertained and learning for two hours straight. They raved about the Center and want to return.
